Delicious place with HUGE portions. each burger comes with tasty chips and the staff was nice to give us a sauce. the kimchi one was a bit disappointing cause it gets soggy and doesn't taste like kimchy, but the one with bacon and cheese was Soo good I kept eating from it. More

I personally love this place. The portions are huge, and a good deal for the price. The chicken is crispy and well flavored, and all the toppings come together for a seriously addictive taste! On top of that they make home made chips to go with each sandwich, and I’m obsessed with them!

Way overpriced for a sandwich. The sandwich was very good, but the chips that came on the side were cold and flavorless. Plus there is no indication and we were never told it even comes with a side. We went and ordered sides somewhere else … More

The katsu itself is pretty decent. The “noodles” they use are definitely box barilla spaghetti. Low on flavor, bordering bland. More

The sandwiches are huge and full of flavor! The chicken was super crispy and the sauce was sweet. I tried the chicken teriyaki and I highly recommend it. The homemade chips are also nice and crunchy. I'd come back again and again.

The California and kimchi chicken sandwiches were amazing. The chicken is fried to perfection and it’s nice and crispy. The cole slaw was seasoned nicely and it was a great combination. If I had to change anything it would be the chips. I would have liked them to be better seasoned, other wise the meal was delicious. More

Ordered the California Katsu sandwich and it was beautifully made. The chicken breast was lightly breaded, fried until golden brown and crunchy, while the yum yum sauce added a hint of sweetness that danced nicely with the tart pickles. Top that off with creamy avocado and you have the perfect sandwich. More

The tonkotsu ramen is delicious! I’ve had it a few times now and it’s always been great! My only slightly negative comment is about the bowls, they are a little flimsy. We took our ramen to go and it had leaked through the bottom only a … More

This place is in Morgan hall eatery.
I came to order a katsu burger to go and found out you don't order katsu sandwiches where it says "the katsu", but next door at "the bowls". The worker at the katsu side said to order on the bowls side, but the bowls side was closed. I was confused because it was 12pm on a weekday and online, it said it was open. All the staff was there but the worker said it was closed with a closed sign up. Then, a few minutes after, they opened. I wish the worker told me they were going to open soon or something, because I was trying to figure out what else to order.
Ordering was easy once that was sorted out and the california katsu sandwich ($15)) was ready within 5 minutes. It's a big sandwich, easy to share if you're not too hungry. It came with homemade chips that were crunchy and delicious like kettle cooked chips but unseasoned. The sandwich felt fresh with the Cole slaw and pickles. Lots of east Asian flavors with the sweet chili sauce and cilantro. The katsu was crunchy and the neat was tender. My bf saud he would have preferred a little more sauce. Would eat it again if I lived nearby!
Love the outdoor shaded seating area. We found street parking nearby for .75 cents an hour!

Such a fun location and this restaurant is one of the best here. Amazingly fresh and crispy. Got the California Katsu and it did not disappoint. Wish the chicken had some more salt (which is why I only give it 4.5 stars) but everything else was great. More

The katsu burger was heavenly! Everyone from the table wanted a bite so I had to share. My sister had a teriyaki bowl and it was also cooked perfectly and the noodles were flavorful too. Definitely recommend!

This is one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I got the chicken teriyaki and it was incredible. Everything from the bun, to the sauce, to the coleslaw, yum yum sauce and then of course the panko breaded chicken. My kids loved their chicken finger box. More

I got the tonkotsu ramen, it was very salty. Overall taste was sub par. And about 4 hours after eating it, I developed mild food poisoning symptoms. I was ok the next day but please be careful with undercooked pork, thank you. More

SSo good. The chicken was delicious and the chips seemed homemade. I could eat a giant bag. My husband really enjoyed the tonkatsu ramen and they loaded him up with meat. Having choices of Japanese sodas was fun and we bought 4 bottles to try.

I had the California chicken sando and I thought it was great! I definitely needed more than the 2 napkins I had though. My only issue was the chips. I wish they were seasoned, that would have made them awesome!

I am so disappointed. I read the reviews and figured I'd try it. I went with what others recommended, the teriyaki sandwich. It was so bland. It just tasted like a plain chicken sandwich and I probably could have gotten more flavor out of a fast food sandwich. For an expensive $15 sandwich I expected so much more. I don't know if they just completely forgot my sauce, but there was 0 teriyaki flavor at all. I'd never recommend this place. Even the chips were bland and went into the trash. I haven't been this unhappy with a restaurant in a while. I'd give them another shot but at $15 a sandwich it isn't happening.

I really was not impressed with this bowl, I had the chicken teriyaki. It looks fantastic but did not live up to my expectations on taste. The noodles were overcooked and the chicken tasted a bit chewy. Unfortunately did not live up to how good it looked.

My Katsu (basically a Japanese fried chicken sandwich) was seriously good. Great bun, crispy but tender chicken, awesome fresh toppings, and really tasty sauce. The homemade chips were crispy but not burned, and were a generous portion. The only knock is that I was the only customer and it took quite a while for my order to come up.
